    About Host my Heart

    Although the website and service is really young, we've been around since 2006. Host my Heart goes back a few years ago when we started on a shared hosting enviornment and gave away free sub domain hosting. Host my Heart is a big step up from then.

    We're really pleased to offer you all a more flexible, professional (but ever so awesome and friendly) experience after these years. We've evolved, the web has evolved, our services evolved.

    Free (Crush) Hosting

    Host my Heart offers a free hosting package titled Crush. As in, we totally have a crush on you. Wink. We also offer a paid hosting package. The free hosting package will always remain free.

    But keep in mind that the hosting is free. You will need a purchased domain to be hosted. If you're coming from another host, or already bought your domain elsewhere, there's no problem. We won't charge you for a domain.

    If you don't have a domain, take a look at the Domains page. We sell domains at a flat cost of 10 USD. We also offer domain giveaway contests, and post up discounted domains for half the price.

    If you don't have a domain and would rather use a subdomain, we can host you under our client domain hearthost.org.

    A restriction of the Crush plan is that you can't place your own ads on your sites. This doesn't mean that we put ads on your site, though. So no worries. If you're on a subdomain, you don't get any add-on domains and have access to only one FTP account.

    Paid (Love) Hosting

    All hosting packages and services have the same support priority. We try to respond as quickly as we can to support tickets.

    People on the Love package get more of just about everything. You also get access to a special forum section (when we release the forum), and you are allowed to post up your own ads.

    You are also included in Love only raffles to win a physical prize from time to time.

    Payments

    If you buy hosting, buy a domain or buy an add-on service, you'll receive an email with a PDF file attached. The PDF file is your invoice that includes a PayPal link. At the moment, PayPal is the only payment gateway we accept.

    If you don't have a PayPal account already, it's no problem. All you need is a credit / debit card or a bank account to pay the invoice through PayPal. But it'd be much more convenient if you register an account at PayPal.com, not to mention free!

    About Us

    Host my Heart is currently run by a staff of two. We are not a big coorporation, or a registered non-profit. We're simply just two people that like helping others out. We also get a kick out of managing our own server. Technology is awesome.

    Eddie is a Full Sail graduate in computer science. He helps keep the server in check and does all server magic. He's a brilliant programmer who's been coding since he was a kid.

    Melissa is the designer for Host my Heart. She's currently persuing an Education degree, and wants to become a child life specialist. She's the one in charge of the public relations.

    About Our Server

    We're currently hosting clients on a wonderful reseller package courtesy of Eleven2. We plan to move to a VPS or dedicated server when Host my Heart meets the demand and growth required. Eleven2 has been around for eight years and providing top notch hardware and service.
